Cinematography

I was approached by BYRNE to help capture Man on the Moon using a single camera move. Rehearsals took place at Penmar Park in West LA - the only space large enough to run the length of the dance with a camera. After research and scouts, Soggy Dry Lake Bed in the Mojave Desert was chosen as the backdrop. The final piece was the sun and shadows. We wanted to capture the dance in the late afternoon sun while avoiding crew shadows and equipment.
